6. A good nursing pillow

9. Heat lamp for the changing table
A heat lamp is very important for babies, as they can't yet retain heat in their bodies. For my first daughter, I had a hanging one, and for my second, I had one that sits next to the changing table. My conclusion: It's better to have it standing next to the changing table. It radiates heat better, and you don't end up making holes in the wall when you remove it.

10. Bottle maker
This bottle warmer is the most practical thing you can have in your everyday life – unless you're breastfeeding, of course. It boils water to 100°C and cools it down to 37°C. This way, you always have water at the perfect temperature for your baby's formula. If you're on the go, you can set it to a variable temperature, keeping the heat in a thermal container.
You no longer need two containers for hot and cold water. This means less to carry.

11. Changing mat
A changing mat for the changing table and a matching fitted cover. The changing mat is a comfortable thickness. These are often very thin, which I didn't like. A fitted cover is important to keep the baby soft and warm. It's also super practical for washing, of course, since things often go wrong.

12. Baby carrier or sling?
Babies love nothing more than feeling their mom or dad's heart. It makes them feel safe and secure. This baby carrier is comfortable to wear. I recommend both. The sling is great for newborns. 15. Extra bed
To ensure your baby sleeps peacefully, I definitely recommend a side bed. This way, your baby will feel like you're right there with them, and it also makes nighttime feedings easier because it's easier to hold. The one I recommend costs a bit more, but it's worth it. The fabric ones aren't directly attached to the bed, so you'll have to get up during the night.
