My new passion: The art of book design

Over the past few months, I've discovered a whole new world: book design. It started as a small idea to create a coloring book for children, but it quickly developed into a passion that inspires me every day.

Why I design books

I've always been creative and loved playing with colors, shapes, and concepts. But when I decided to start my own project, I wanted to create something that was not only beautiful but also something that would bring joy to others. So my first work was born: a unicorn coloring book for children ages 3 to 6. I wanted it to be colorful, imaginative, and, above all, child-friendly—and that's exactly what it turned out to be!

The creative process

For me, book design is a perfect blend of structure and creativity. It starts with an idea or a theme. Then I sketch initial drafts, select colors, and search for suitable motifs. I find it particularly fascinating how many small details create a harmonious overall picture.

The technical aspects, like choosing the paper, the size, and the layout, were challenging at first, but now I love making those decisions too. It's incredibly satisfying to hold the finished book in my hands and know that every page was designed with love.

Why children's books?

Children have a very special way of seeing the world. They are curious, imaginative, and full of enthusiasm for everything new. With my books, I want to support this enthusiasm and create small moments of happiness.

Unicorns, rainbows, and magical worlds—these are the themes that make children's eyes light up. Seeing a child play and be creative with my illustrations is my greatest achievement.

What's next?

My journey into the world of book design has only just begun. In addition to more coloring books, I'd like to pursue other book projects in the future, such as friendship books, notebooks, or perhaps even storybooks. The possibilities are endless, and I'm excited to see where this path will take me.
